The project
The task
Pointslook's task was to develop a digital system for production planning and project coordination for the client that would create transparency and efficiency in all areas of production processes. The solution needed to provide a centralised platform where all stakeholders - from senior management to project managers - could access relevant data at any time and monitor progress in real time.
The specific requirements included detailed management of order data, prioritisation of projects and integrated scheduling and capacity planning in order to make optimum use of human and machine resources. In addition, an automatic notification and escalation function was required to provide immediate information in the event of critical changes and enable a rapid response.
The aim of the project was to standardise and optimise the customer's production processes in order to improve adherence to deadlines, resource management and quality assurance. By reducing throughput times and increasing production capacities, the system should lead to a sustainable increase in efficiency and satisfaction for all parties involved.
The process

The customer's requirements were recorded in detail in order to determine the specific production planning requirements and set clearly defined targets.
A central platform has been developed that offers all users a clear and user-friendly interface for the production planning process.
The user interface has been designed so that all participants can intuitively access relevant data at any time.
Pointslook has developed a module that enables the detailed management and analysis of order data in order to prioritise projects efficiently.
A scheduling and capacity planning function has been integrated to ensure the optimal deployment of personnel and machines.
A real-time monitoring module has been implemented to transparently display the project progress and status in all production phases.
An automatic notification system has been integrated that immediately forwards critical changes and deviations to the responsible employees.
After successful tests, the system was rolled out.
